Who built the pyramids for the Egyptians?
Could the ancient Egyptians to erect their own giant pyramids and palaces? People who only read about these structures in the history books, I guess: Yes. But many of those who have been in this country, and wander, for example, along the valley of Giza, no doubt. Too impressive these structures, even on their construction, as expected, worked tens of thousands of slaves.
Version Of The Conan Doyle
The theory that the pyramids are material traces of a more ancient technologically advanced civilization that does not put forward today. For example, in 1929 “father of Sherlock Holmes” by Arthur Conan Doyle published the fiction novel “Markatov the abyss” whose characters are in a city – island, thousands of years ago sank to the bottom of the Atlantic ocean. When one examines the underwater structure, it is observed that: “Columns, platforms and staircases of this building exceeded anything I have ever seen on earth. Most of all, the building looked like the remains of the temple of Karnak in Luxor, in Egypt, and, strange to say, ornaments and half-erased inscriptions in the details resembled the same decoration and inscriptions of the great ruins near the Nile”. Scientists have found that most are made of solid lava, but there are instances, and made of sedimentary rocks. Balls were found in many countries and continents ― Central America, USA, New Zealand, Romania, Kazakhstan, Brazil and Russia. Many unique specimens have been stolen, destroyed or even blown up, as the hunters believed that the inside can be hidden gold.
According to historians and archaeologists in Central America balls could muster in front of the house of nobles, thus demonstrating their status, but that doesn’t explain their purpose, in particular, in Novaya Zemlya or Franz Joseph Land. Continue reading
In Torun is full of beautiful places!
Torun is one of the most beautiful cities in Poland, situated on the North of the country on the banks of the Vistula river. Gothic architectural monuments located in the Old town of Torun, in 1997 were listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. During the second World war, the city is not substantially affected, so all the old buildings and the building retains its original appearance.
Archaeological excavations confirm that the first settlements on the territory of present city was founded in 1100 BC but the name Torun gave the settlement the knights of the Teutonic order, who arrived here in the early thirteenth century. and who built a castle here. Toruń city rights received in 1233 over the centuries, the city remained an important center of trading routes and several times changed its owners: toruń was a part of not only Poland, but also Prussia and Sweden.
Torun – the city is famous for gingerbread, a genuine Gothic structures and Nicolaus Copernicus. Here, in 1473 G. was born the famous astronomer and mathematician, the author of the geocentric system of the world, which marked the beginning of the 1st scientific revolution. The Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun is one of the most prestigious Universities in Poland. Continue reading
